Buta Airways, which is a structural unit of the Azerbaijani airline AZAL, will start operating flights from Baku to Kyiv in the fall, with one-way ticket prices starting from EUR 29, avianews.com reports.

According to the published information, fees will be charged for transportation of hand luggage and baggage, choice of seats, hot meals on board, and check-in at the airport.

According to AZAL, Buta Airways will begin selling tickets in the near future. The airline will use Embraer regional airplanes.

The low-cost airline is expected to operate its first flight from Baku to Tbilisi on September 1. At the first stage, flights will also be operated from Baku to Kyiv, Moscow, Antalya, Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, and Tehran. Buta Airways will start operating flights to Istanbul and St. Petersburg on October 29.

AZAL currently operates Baku-Kyiv and Baku-Lviv flights under the Azaljet low-cost brand name.
