Donald Tusk, who was elected as the new prime minister of Poland on Monday, 11 December, has said that his government knows how to unblock the Polish-Ukrainian border and that it will do it quickly.

This was reported by the CFTS portal, citing the publication Zaxid.

According to Tusk, ministers in the new Polish government began looking for a solution to the problem on the Polish-Ukrainian border even before their appointment.

"This is a symbolic moment. The future ministers in this government were looking for ways to solve the problem on the Polish-Ukrainian border as soon as possible. We have found ways to meet the demands of Polish drivers as soon as possible and at the same time unblock the border with war-torn Ukraine, which is waiting for cargo," he said without providing details.
