Construction of the first 140-meter self-propelled loader with a cargo lifting capacity of 10,000 tons has begun at the Nibulon shipyard’s facilities, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from the Nibulon company.

"The Nibulon company’s shipbuilders have begun building the first 140-meter self-propelled loader under the P-140 project. It will have two cranes with a lifting capacity of 10,000 tons and an output of 18,000 tons per day," the company said.

As reported, the company announced in April that it planned to build sea-going vessels.

It was also reported that Nibulon intended to build a fleet of vessels for transporting building materials.
