The total number of electric vehicles officially registered in Ukraine was 26,089 as of early March 2021.

This was reported by the UNIAN news agency, citing the ITC.ua portal.

The largest numbers of electric vehicles are registered in Kyiv, followed by the Odesa region and the Kyiv region.

Following are the top five regions in terms of the number of electric cars registered:

Kyiv city – 5,664

The Odesa region – 3,902

The Kyiv region – 3,192

The Kharkiv region – 2,528

The Dnipropetrovsk region – 2,118.

The smallest numbers of electric vehicles were registered in the Luhansk region (33) and the Crimea (2).

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Chevrolet Bolt became the bestselling electric vehicle in Ukraine at the beginning of this year, displacing the long-standing bestseller, the Nissan Leaf, for the first time.
