The Posco International company has made the first shipment of feed grain from a Ukrainian port to South Korea under the initiative to establish a maritime corridor to allow ships to export grain from Ukraine.

The Bonita bulk carrier departed from the Pivdennyi port with 61,000 tons of corn on board, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Agroportal publication. The vessel is expected to arrive at the Incheon port in South Korea at the end of September.

The Korean authorities expect this grain shipment to help ease the country's shortage of cattle feed. Against the backdrop of the current international situation, the shortage of feed has already caused an increase in livestock prices.
