About 88,000 tons of wheat stolen from Ukrainian farmers have been shipped to Turkey and Syria from the temporarily occupied port of Mariupol to Turkey and Syria.

This was announced by representatives of the regional office of Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor), the CFTS portal reports.

Under the supervision of Rosselkhoznadzor, 17 ships loaded with 107,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian grain were dispatched from the port of Mariupol in the first eight months of 2024.

As the CFTS portal previously reported, the Russian occupiers have handled almost 180,000 tons of stolen goods through the port of Mariupol since the beginning of the year.
