The Ryanair airline aims to transport 1 million passengers in its first year of operation on the Ukrainian market. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced this in an address before the signing ceremony of an agreement with Ryanair, the CFTS correspondent reports.

However, a slightly lower passenger volume was indicated in a press release that was distributed to journalists during the ceremony: 250,000 passengers from/to Lviv and 550,000 from/to Boryspil.

In total, the airline will perform 32 flights from/to Ukraine per week.

In addition, the press release states that ticket prices will start at EUR 19.99. However, according to the airline’s head Michael O'Leary, ticket prices will start at EUR 10.

The airline will start operating flights in October.
