The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has allowed certain categories of aviation industry workers to travel abroad.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 1148 dated 4 October, male citizens of Ukraine aged 18-60 who are aviation personnel, state aviation supervision inspectors, or persons authorized to conduct the State Aviation Service’s inspections, and employees of the Ukraine state aviation enterprise will henceforth be able to cross the border, the CFTS portal reports.
According to the State Border Service, these categories of citizens are allowed to travel abroad during martial law if the purpose of their travel abroad is to work or undergo training.
The Ukraine state aviation enterprise provides air transport services to senior government officials.
As reported earlier, the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) and the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) have discussed the implementation of a plan for resumption of air navigation services in Ukraine's airspace. The key topics of discussion were training of specialists in all operational areas during the war and maintaining their professional level.
