The Ministry of Infrastructure has announced the final list of candidates in the competition for the post of general director of the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia).

The list includes Dina Nemyrovich, the financial director and director of strategy at the Farmak company; Yevhen Romaschin, the general director of the Corum Group; Daniel Valk, the general director of North American Interpipe (Houston, United States) until October 2014.

The ministry also published the career profiles of the candidates and their vision of reform of the Ukrainian railway sector.

As reported earlier, a group of experts including representatives from Deloitte Ukraine, Talent Advisors, and EBS completed consultations with the Ministry of Infrastructure on selection and assessment of candidates for the post of general director of Ukrzaliznytsia on February 13. As a result, a shortlist of candidates recommended for consideration for the post was sent to the minister of infrastructure.

The expert group received the resumes of all the interested candidates after the ministry publicly invited applications for the open positions. In total, 233 resumes were submitted.

After a review, a longlist of 11 candidates to head Ukrzaliznytsia was compiled and these candidates were recommended for interviews. Representatives of the expert group and the deputy minister of infrastructure later interviewed the candidates that made the longlist. As a result, a shortlist of the three candidates that will be recommended to the minister of infrastructure for submission to the nomination committee was compiled.
