Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will launch direct flights from Kyiv to the Egyptian capital of Cairo (al-Qahira) on April 6, 2018, according to the airline’s ticket booking system, avianews.com reports.
The timetable provides for operation of four flights per week during the daytime, using Boeing 737 aircraft. The flight will depart from Kyiv at 10:25 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and return from Cairo at 13:35 after a 50-minute stop at the Cairo airport. The journey will take 3 hours 20 minutes.
Round-trip tickets for direct flights from Kyiv to Cairo in April 2018 will cost about UAH 13,500 (including hand luggage only) or at least UAH 14,300 (with luggage).
Kyiv-Cairo tickets can be purchased on the website of UIA or through agencies.
Currently, there are no direct flights between Kyiv and Cairo. AeroSvit Airlines started flights on this route in 2004, but the flights were canceled a few years later.
