Chinese tourists will be able to enter Ukraine without visas from August 1 to January 31, 2021.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the decree "On Temporary Introduction of a Visa-Free Regime for Citizens of the People's Republic of China Entering Ukraine for Tourist Purposes," the CFTS portal reports, citing the Interfax Ukraine news agency.

The decree was signed with the aim of developing friendly relations between Ukraine and China and intensifying bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.

According to the document, Chinese tourists will be able to enter Ukraine or travel through the country on transit without visas from August 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021, if the period of their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 30 days within a period of 180 days.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the European Union is opening its borders to a number of countries, but not Ukraine. The list of countries for which entry restrictions are lifted will be updated every two weeks.
