Ukrainian seaports processed 82.2 million tons of cargo in 2025, fulfilling over 95% of their cargo handling plan.
Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister of Development of Communities and Territories Oleksii Kuleba announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
"Ukrainian seaports showed the sector’s wartime resilience in 2025," Kuleba said.
The cargo turnover was 81.7 million tons or 100.5% of the target.
As usual, agricultural products formed the backbone of the cargo turnover, totaling 44.2 million tons or over 53% of the total volume.
In addition, container transportation increased significantly, reaching 215,748 TEU, compared with 129,902 TEU the previous year.
Ukrainian products were exported to 55 countries worldwide in 2025.
"These results are evidence that the port sector remains a pillar of the economy even amid constant military threats," Kuleba said.
