The State Property Fund has published a list of small assets intended for privatization. The list includes nine state enterprises that are part of the Ukroboronprom state defense concern, including the Vinnytsia aircraft plant. Ukroboronprom sees no reason to keep the aircraft plant.
This is stated in the Privatization Bulletin, the CFTS portal reports.
The State Property Fund also intends to sell 100% of the shares in PJSC Sudmash Kherson Plant, which has an authorized capital of UAH 67.24 million.
In addition, the State Property Fund intends to sell some Ukroboronprom enterprises, including the Zaporizhia automobile repair plant; the Ivano-Frankivsk boiler and welding plant; the 171st Chernihiv repair plant; the Nizhyn engineering weapons repair plant; the Kharkiv transport equipment plant; the Central Research Institute of Navigation and Control; the Ukroboronresursy state enterprise.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Motor Sich motor company is interested in buying the Vinnytsia aircraft plant. This was announced by Motor Sich’s Board Chairman Viacheslav Bohuslaev. “We are interested in this plant, but it has been designated as a defense industry enterprise and they are not giving it to a private investor,” Bohuslaev said. According to him, the plant is currently in poor condition and requires major modernization.
