The State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia) aims to make a net profit of UAH 526 million in 2019. This forecast is contained in the section on strategic development plan of Ukrzaliznytsia’s financial plan for 2015, which is published on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Interfax Ukraine news agency writes.

According to the document, Ukrzaliznytsia expects a total net loss of UAH 47.9 million in 2015, a net profit of UAH 259.7 million in 2016, a net profit of UAH 346.5 million in 2017, and a net profit of UAH 417 million in 2018.

The financial plan projects Ukrzaliznytsia’s net revenues at UAH 57.3 billion in 2015, UAH 61.5 billion in 2016, UAH 65.6 billion in 2017, UAH 70.3 billion in 2018, and UAH 75 5 billion in 2019.

Ukrzaliznytsia’s EBITDA is projected at UAH 12.9 billion in 2015, UAH 6.926 billion in 2016, UAH 7.213 billion in 2017, UAH 7.627 billion in 2018, and UAH 8.096 billion in 2019.

EBITDA margin is projected to fall from 22.6% in 2015 to 10.72% in 2019.

According to the financial plan, Ukrzaliznytsia will make various payments and contributions totaling UAH 11.876 billion into the state budget in 2015. According to the strategic development plan, such payments and contributions into the state budget will total UAH 12.562 billion in 2016, UAH 13.453 billion in 2017, UAH 14.723 billion in 2018, and UAH 16.185 billion in 2019.

Ukrzaliznytsia’s capital investments are projected at UAH 2.0556 billion in 2015, UAH 5.428 billion in 2016, UAH 5.531 billion in 2017, UAH 7.534 billion in 2018, and UAH 4.438 billion in 2019.

Out of the projected amount of capital investment in 2015, UAH 583.8 billion is expected to be allocated for capital construction, UAH 233.1 million for purchase of fixed assets, UAH 160.8 million for acquisition of other non-current tangible assets, and UAH 1.069 billion for modernization of fixed assets.

The average number of railway workers in 2015 is projected at 259,600, including 18,000 managers. The payroll budget is projected at UAH 13.549 billion and the labor costs at UAH 14.541 billion.

The average monthly salary per employee, according to the financial plan, is projected at UAH 4,348 (the average wage of the director is projected at UAH 26,000, the average wage of administrative staff at UAH 6,000, and the average wage of workers at UAH 4,286).

Ukrzaliznytsia’s debt on credits amounted to a net profit of UAH 42.843 billion as of 1 January 2015, including UAH 36.685 billion on long-term credits.

According to the financial plan, it will amount to UAH 37.454 billion by the end of 2015, including a net profit of UAH 31.04 billion on long-term credits.
