The consolidated average monthly salary of employees of the Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) was UAH 14,442 in November 2021.
Ukrzaliznytsia announced this in a statement in response to an information request from the CFTS portal.
According to the company, there are currently no statistical data on the average monthly salaries for the main professions in November this year.
However, according to data from Ukrzaliznytsia, the average monthly salaries for some professions in October 2021 are available. They are UAH 26,054 for locomotive drivers; UAH 18 678 for driver's assistants; UAH 14,917 for railcar inspectors; UAH 17,294 for yardmasters; and UAH 16,249 for track fitters.
Compared with November 2020, the average monthly salary at Ukrzaliznytsia has increased to UAH 11,681. For example, the average monthly salaries were UAH 19,318 for a locomotive driver, UAH 13,603 for an assistant driver, and UAH 12,551 for a yardmaster.
As reported earlier, according to data from Ukrzaliznytsia, the average salary at Ukrzaliznytsia was UAH 12,435 as of September 2019. The salaries of railway workers averaged UAH 11,324 in June 2019.
