The Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) has received 63 gasoline-powered inverter generators from the German rail carrier, Deutsche Bahn.
Ukrzaliznytsia announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
All the generators are efficient and have low noise levels. In total, the German carrier donated 16 2.3-kW Stromerzeuger generators and 47 3-kW Endress generators to Ukrzaliznytsia.
The generators will be distributed among the company's divisions.
"They will be sent to the places experiencing the biggest electricity-supply interruptions: Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Kremenchuk, and other cities. They will be useful there during the performance of operations that are not very energy-consuming, particularly the operation of computer equipment, lighting during the inspection wagons, and pumps for heating premises," the statement said.
According to the statement, Deutsche Bahn also plans to donate 325 Jackery portable charging stations to Ukrzaliznytsia.
"Points of Invincibility" and bomb shelters will be equipped with them.
