The UTair Ukraine airline company and the Ilyushin Finance Co. leasing company (IFC) have signed a memorandum of understanding for operational lease of five Bombardier CS300 aircraft to the airline company in the period of 2014-2015. The memorandum of understanding was signed on On August 29 during the MAKS air show in Russia, the press service of UTair reports.
The two companies agreed to finalize the basic terms of the operation and sign a firm contract within three months.
UTair Ukraine was founded in September 2008. Its aircraft are currently based at the Lugansk, Boryspil, and Zhulyany airports. The airline company operates scheduled and charter flights, using ATR 42, ATR 72-500, Boeing 737-800, and Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft. UTair Ukraine transported 420,000 passengers in 2012. The airline company is part of the UTair group (Russia).
