Wizz Air, a Hungarian low-cost airline, has begun operating flights from Lviv to Italy.

The Lviv airport announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

According to the statement, the airline began operating Lviv-Rome (Ciampino)-Lviv flights on Wednesdays and Sundays on 14 August and began operating Lviv-Milan (Malpensa)-Lviv flights on Mondays and Fridays on August 16.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, Wizz Air plans to operate flights from Milan (Italy) to Alexandria (Egypt) from September this year. The low-cost airline has received permission to operate regular flights from Italy from the local aviation regulator, ENAC.
