The Wizz Air low-cost airline has launched flights from Lviv to three new destinations, omage replica namely Dortmund (Germany) and Gdansk and Katowice (Poland). Wizz Air performed the first flights to Lviv from Katowice and Gdansk on March 26, the CFTS reports.

A large Polish delegation headed by Mayor of Gdansk Pawel Adamowicz flew to Ukraine on one of the aircraft.

According to information on the Lviv airport’s website, the flight from Gdansk arrived at 13:00 and relojes replicas the flight from Katowice at 14:20.

The return flight to Gdansk departed at 13:30 and the return flight to Katowice at 14:50.

Wizz Air plans to operate two flights to Lviv and Gdansk per week (on Mondays and Fridays).

Lviv-Katowice flights will also be operated twice per week (on Mondays and Fridays) initially. Two additional flights (on Wednesdays and Sundays) will be added on June 20, which will increase the total frequency of flights to four per week.

In addition, the Hungarian low-cost airline resumed flights on the Dortmund-Lviv route on March 25, following a four-year hiatus. The flight arrived at 18:30 on Sunday and the return flight departed at 19:10 on the same day. 

Regular flights on this route were performed by Wizz Air Ukraine, the Ukrainian subsidiary of Wizz Air, until October 26, 2014.

Dortmund is Wizz Air’s second German destination from Lviv after Berlin, to which the airline began operating repliche orologi flights on June 18, 2017.
