The Wizz Air Ukraine airline company has acquired the right to operate regular flights between Lvov and Tel Aviv (Israel), the CFTS’ correspondent reports.
"We have received permission to operate Lvov-Tel Aviv flights. This happened just recently, less than a week has passed," Wizz Air Ukraine’s Commercial Director Natalia Artiomova told journalists.
At the same time, she is not yet ready to announce the date of the first flight.
In addition, according to her, the airline company is continuing talks with the Russian aviation authorities on Kiev-Moscow flights. "As soon as all the formalities are agreed, we will immediately announce it," she said.
Wizz Air Ukraine is part of the Wizz Air group of companies, and it has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2008. The carrier operates four Airbus A320 aircraft and operates flights from four Ukrainian airports to 27 destinations in 11 countries. The company transported 630,000 passengers in 2012.
