The Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure’s commission on formulation and implementation of state policy on operation of airlines has issued the Wizz Air Ukraine airline company a permit for operation of regular international flights on the Donetsk-Budapest route, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports, citing the ministry’s press service.
The relevant decision was made at a meeting of the commission on December 27, 2013.
In addition, the commission issued a permit for operation of regular flights on the routes Lvov-Larnaca and Kiev-Thessaloniki to the Windrose airline company and permits for operation of regular domestic flights on the Kiev-Chernovtsy route to the Khors and Urga airline companies.
As reported, Wizz Air Ukraine plans to begin operating flights on the Donetsk-Budapest route on April 30, 2014.
Wizz Air Ukraine is a low-cost airline company that operates a fleet of four Airbus 320 aircraft and operates flights to 32 destinations in 12 countries from four Ukrainian cities.
