The Yuzhny Port Authority’s revenue increased 2.1-fold to UAH 1.95 billion in 2015, compared with 2014. The Yuzhny Port Authority’s head of Maksym Shirokov announced this at a press conference, the CFTS correspondent reports.

"We are doing everything to ensure that they increase, including abolition of discounts, continuation of dredging operations, etc.," Shirokov said.
The port authority’s additional revenue resulting from the cancellation of the discounts on port charges amounted to UAH 315.9 million in 2015 alone. In the entire period since the date of cancellation of the discounts (since July 2014), the port authority’s revenue have amounted to UAH 415 million.
