Almost 15 million tons of cargo have been exported through Ukraine’s temporary corridor in the Black Sea in the five months since the launch of the corridor.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

"Of these, Ukrainian farmers produced 10 million tons," the ministry said.

In the five months since the launch of the corridor, 469 new vessels have entered Ukrainian ports for loading.

Currently, 39 vessels are being loaded in the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi.

In addition, 83 vessels have confirmed their intention to call at the ports to load 2.4 million tons of export cargo.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said on 29 December that over 12 million tons of cargo had been transported through the temporary Black Sea corridor.
