In the 10 months since the opening of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, 55 million tons of cargo have been exported through it.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

According to the statement, 1,954 ships were loaded and 37.4 million tons of agricultural products were exported to 45 countries during this period.

"The constant increase in the volume of transportation demonstrates the effectiveness of the operation of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, which Ukraine opened on its own ten months ago, exclusively with the assistance of the United Defense Forces. Despite constant attacks on port infrastructure, Ukraine remains a top exporter of agricultural products and a guarantor of global food security," the ministry said in the statement.

According to the statement, Ukrainian ports are awaiting the arrival of 68 ships, which will export almost 2 million tons of cargo.
