Ships have transported 68 million tons of cargo through Ukraine’s Black Sea maritime corridor since its launch in mid-September 2023.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
Of this total, 46 million tons were agricultural products. The second largest export category was metallurgical and mining products.
Ukrainian ports handled 2,523 ships passing through the maritime corridor.
However, according to the ministry, over the past two years, Russian attacks have destroyed 280 Ukrainian port infrastructure facilities, over 150 vehicles, and 17 civilian vessels, including over 100,000 tons of grain cargo.
