The active phase of construction of a bridge in Zaporizhia has begun.
The State Road Service (Ukravtodor) announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
According to the statement, 164 workers are involved in this phase of the construction work.
"At present, the priority task for the bridge builders is construction of the first phase, which will link the part of the city that is located on the right bank of River Dnipro with a coastal highway and Tiulenina Street through the Khortytsia Island," Ukravtodor said in the statement.
The Onur Taahhut contractor is performing the construction work.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the president of Ukraine intends to find funds for financing a construction program for restoration of bridges throughout Ukraine.
