Polish citizen Ireneusz Wasilewski, a former employee of the PKP Cargo company, may be appointed onto the board of the Ukrzaliznytsia public railway company, the Polish media report.
Wasilewski is described as an experienced specialist in the railway industry. He graduated from the railway engineering school in Radom. He joined PKP in 1977. He headed the Wielkopolska division of PKP Cargo. He was a member of the board of PKP Cargo from 2009 to 2012.
As CFTS reported, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed the new board of the Ukrzaliznytsia public railway company, which was proposed by the company’s new head Wojciech Balczun, on Wednesday. The board includes Polish citizens Marek Robert Zalesny and Remigiusz Paszkiewicz.
However, Polish journalists are reporting that another Polish citizen (Wasilewski) will become a board member of Ukrzaliznytsia. According to them, Wasilewski may join Zalesny and Paszkiewicz on the board next week.
As CFTS reported, the board of Ukrzaliznytsia also includes the company’s Financial Director Oleksandr Buzhor and personnel specialist with work experience at international media companies Zeljko Marcek.
