Passengers of the Atlasjet Ukraine airline (the Atlasglobal Ukraine brand) have begun receiving notification of cancellation of flights or postponement of departure times, according to avianews.com.

These changes affect the Kharkiv-Istanbul route, for which the carrier has significantly changed its flight timetable from December.

The flight currently departs from Kharkov at 03:30 and returns from Istanbul at 22:40. Under the new timetable, the flight will depart from Istanbul at 07:35 or 11:30, depending on the day, and depart from Kharkiv at 14:25 from 14 December.

In addition to changing the departure times, the airline has changed the days of flights. For example, flights from Kharkiv on Thursdays and Saturdays have been canceled from 14 December. Instead, flights on Fridays and Sundays have been added.

The airline has not yet submitted the new timetable to the Kharkiv airport because the old timetable still appears in the relevant section of the airport's website, which updates automatically.

The call center of Atlasjet Ukraine said that timetable was changed in order to optimize it. Passengers affected by the flight cancellations or timetable change are offered only the options of refund or transfer to the airline’s other flights but not the possibility of purchasing tickets for flights operated by other airlines.

Atlasjet Ukraine began operating regular international flights in September 2015. The airline currently flies from Kharkiv, Lviv, and Zaporizhia to Istanbul. It uses one A320 aircraft for these purposes.
