President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi has signed a decree confirming the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine’s decision of 2 September 2024 entitled “On the Imposition of Personal Special Economic and Other Restrictive Measures (Sanctions)” against 72 business entities and 74 individuals from the Russian Federation.
The sanctions specifically target entities within the Russian aviation sector.
They include the companies that manage Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports, as well as the management company Airports of the Regions, Koltsovo Airport JSC, Nizhny Novgorod International Airport JSC, Novosibirsk International Airport LLC, and others.
The sanctions also target transportation and air cargo companies.
The sanctions include asset freezes, restrictions on commercial operations, flights, and transportation within Ukraine, prevention of capital withdrawals from Ukraine, termination of trade agreements, and a ban on technology transfers.
