Austrian Airlines during the 2016 summer season will double the number of flights from Vienna to Lviv and Odessa, the carrier’s press office reports.
Now flights to both cities are carried out four times a week. Austrian Airlines will launch the daily flights to Odessa in the first month of summer. The carrier will also add two weekly flights to Lviv.
The Austrian Airlines flight offering in Ukraine includes Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv and Odessa. Ukraine continues to be an important market in Eastern Europe: the majority of passengers transfer to Western European or North Atlantic destinations.
Kharkiv had to be removed from the flight schedule due to the ongoing crisis in Eastern Ukraine. Nevertheless, demand in the rest of country has developed positively.
