The AZAL airline (Azerbaijan) began selling cheap tickets for flights between Kyiv and Baku on 28 March. The flights will be performed by the airline’s AZALJET budget brand, avianews.com reports.
The price of a one-way ticket starts at EUR 50 while the price of a roundtrip ticket starts at EUR 100. The number of seats available at these prices is limited and such seats are not available on all flights.
These prices cover only transportation of passengers and hand luggage. Payments for meals and transportation of baggage are made separately, if necessary.
From 28 March, AZAL flights between Baku and Kyiv, Lviv, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Istanbul, Ankara, Dubai, Tbilisi, Minsk, Tehran, and Aktau, as well as the Turkish resorts of Antalya, Bodrum, and Dalaman are performed under the AZALJET brand.
Economy-class tickets for these flights do not include meals and baggage. The latter costs EUR 20 per bag weighing up to 23 kilograms on one-way flights if payment is made at least three hours before departure. After that, the price increases by EUR 5.
