The Kyiv hydroelectric power plant, located near Vyshhorod, was struck during a major enemy attack on Ukraine on 26 August, the CFTS portal reports.

The extent of the damage remains unknown, but the power plant’s dam was not breached.

The Kyiv reservoir, situated furthest upstream among the cascade of six reservoirs on the Dnipro River, holds an estimated volume of 3.7 cubic kilometers of water.
