The Island Sky cruise liner (Bahamian flag) will visit Odesa three times in October this year, the Odesa port has announced.

"The cruise season at the port of Odessa traditionally ends in October. The Island Sky ship is expected to make three calls at the end of the season: on 3, 13, and 25 October. It is said that the last words are the ones that are remembered, and Odesa port workers and residents of the city will remember the closing of the season. However its beginning was, October 2016 gives hope that cruise ships will return to Odesa," the port said.

The 90-meter Island Sky cruise ship has repeatedly visited Odesa.

As reported, Odesa, which previously had a busy schedule of cruise ship calls in the summer, has encountered an outflow of maritime travelers in recent years. Several cruise lines have canceled their traditional round trips on the Black Sea due to the annexation of the Crimea, where the two formerly popular tourist cities – Yalta and Sevastopol – are located.
