Forty-five million tons of cargo have been exported to 44 countries through the Ukrainian maritime corridor.

The Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

Since the opening of the Ukrainian maritime corridor almost nine months ago, about 1,600 vessels have exported 45 million tons of cargo from the ports of Greater Odesa.

"These are mainly products of Ukrainian farmers destined for global food markets. Despite everything, Ukraine remains a top exporter of agricultural products and a guarantor of food security. Thirty-eight countries have received more than 30 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products," the statement said.

An additional 108 vessels carrying more than 3 million tons of cargo are on their way to the ports.
