A consortium made up of the Bogdan corporation (Ukraine) and the Ursus company (Poland) has delivered five new trolleybuses to Lublin (Poland).
According to the press service of the Bogdan corporation, the trolleybuses are currently undergoing registration and will begin operating on the streets of the city within the next few days.
In total, the manufacturers will deliver 38 trolleybuses to Lublin under the relevant contract.
As reported, the Bogdan corporation reached agreement on supply of the bodies of 100 12-meter trolleybuses to the Bashkir trolleybus plant (BTZ) in June. The contract is valued at USD 12.5 million. The Bogdan corporation expects to enter the Russian public-transport market with this partnership.
