The Boryspil international airport handled its 12 millionth passenger of 2018 on December 12, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from the airport.
According to information from the airport, the 12 millionth passenger was Maria Kolesnikova, who was flying to Berlin with her family.
“The airport continues to increase its passenger transport volume in accordance with its annual development plan. This means that we are choosing clear guidelines and moving in the right direction,” the airport’s General Director Pavlo Riabikin said.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Boryspil airport handled 11.668 million passengers in the period of January-November 2018. Accordingly, the airport handled 332,000 passengers from December 1 to December 12.
As reported, the Boryspil airport aims to handle 12.55 million passengers in the entire 2018, which will exceed the figure for 2017 by 19%. Passenger traffic through the airport increased by 22.1% last year.
