On 17 August, the Boryspil international airport paid UAH 75.9 million into Ukraine’s state budget as dividends and income tax on its operations in the first half of 2015. The press service of the airport announced this in a statement.

The airport has paid a total of UAH 231.8 million into the state budget and local budgets since the beginning of 2015.

According to the statement, the airport introduced several important measures in the first half of the year that enabled it to improve its profitability. For example, it adopted a plan to stimulate air travel, primarily through the use of the airport’s transit potential, which resulted in an increase of 59% in revenue.
