The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed the heads of two railways. The relevant directives were adopted on May 27.

The directive No. 514 relieved Oleksandr Filatov of the post of director of the Yuzhnaya railways and the directive No. 515 relieved Ihor Hladkikh of the post of director of the Pridneprovska railways.

Filatov and Hladkikh were both dismissed "for failing to fulfill the terms of their contracts."

As reported previously, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the Odessa railways’ head Mykola Lukhanin and the Donetsk railways’ head Mykola Rohov on April 9. Only the Southwestern railways’ head Oleksii Kryvopishin and the Lvov railways’ head Bohdan Pikh have thus far managed to retain their positions since the change of government in Ukraine.

In addition, the government dismissed three deputy heads of the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia) – Oleksii Slipchenko, Oksana Plotnikova, and Petro Naumenko – on April 9.
