The Ministry of Infrastructure is continuing work on the state program for development of airports until 2023, and the relevant working group is currently hiring consulting firms, including Deloitte. This was stated by Andrii Yarmak, the acting head of the ministry’s air transport department, announced this at a meeting of the Airports of Ukraine association’s strategic development committee on 18 June, the CFTS correspondent reports.
According to Yarmak, a draft document has already been prepared. In addition, the ministry has created a summary table for most airports, excluding the Nikolayev and Ivano-Frankovsk airports.
As reported earlier, the drafting of the program began in 2012 but work on the document was later suspended. In October 2013, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Concept for the Targeted State Program for Development of Airports until 2023.
