Direct flights will be launched between Ukraine and Malta in the spring of 2018. Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko and Malta’s President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca reached agreement to this affect and made the corresponding statement.
"Direct flights between Ukraine and Malta will start in the spring of next year," Poroshenko’s spokesman Sviatoslav Tseholko wrote on Twitter.
Poroshenko and Coleiro Preca also attended a Ukrainian-Maltese business forum at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on October 17.
