Dniprovahonmash, a rail freight rolling stock manufacturer based in Ukraine, has delivered the first TransANT Pro Sgns flatcar for transporting large-tonnage containers to the DB Bahnbau Group, as reported by the CFTS portal.
The four-axle Sgns flatcar can carry 73 tons of freight and has a maximum axle load of 23 tons.
To expedite the delivery, the flatcar was transported by road from Ukraine to Hungary.
Dniprovahonmash is part of the TAS industrial group, which has acquired 61% of the Austrian wagon manufacturer TransANT in recent years. Dniprovahonmash now manufactures TransANT wagons to order.
