Russia again attacked civilian railway infrastructure in the Kharkiv region in the early hours of May 24.

"The enemy has not stopped its targeted attempts to stop the railway in the Kharkiv region. It again attacked the civilian railway infrastructure during the night," the Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) said in a statement.

The attack damaged tracks, buildings, idle freight cars, and an electric train car.

"Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. Long-distance and suburban trains are running as scheduled," Ukrzaliznytsia said.
