The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prepared a proposal on introduction of visas between Ukraine and Russia, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.
"The relevant proposals have already been prepared, and they will be approved at a Cabinet meeting in the coming days and made public," Yevhen Perebiinis, the director of the Foreign Ministry’s department of foreign policy, announced this at a news briefing.
As reported, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to introduce visas between Ukraine and Russia after a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on March 19.
However, acting Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk said on Thursday that introduction of visas between Ukraine and Russia and introduction of international passports for travel to Russia should not he rushed.
