Exports of grain, leguminous crops, and flour from Ukraine exceeded 50 million tons for the first time in the 2018/2019 fiscal year (from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019), compared with the previous fiscal year.

The press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

Exports of grain and leguminous crops totaled 49,995,000 tons, including wheat and wheat-and-rye mixture (15,579,000 tons); barley (3,692,000 tons); rye (87,800 tons); corn (29,822,000 tons); other grains and legumes (815,000 tons).

Flour exports totaled 301,280 tons, including wheat flour or wheat-and-rye mixture (299,897 tons); flour from other grain crops (1,384 tons).

Compared with the previous fiscal year, exports grew by more than 10 million tons.

Accordingly, the volume of transshipment of grain through ports and terminals is growing.
