The Ministry of Infrastructure has assigned functions to deputy ministers of infrastructure and determined the sectors they will oversee, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian announced on his Facebook page.
First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Shulmeister will be responsible for aviation, the maritime sector, the Ukrposhta postal agency, the Ukravtodor road agency, state enterprises, property issues, the strategy for development of the country's infrastructure, and security issues.
Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kava is responsible for the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia), and road transport.
Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Oksana Reiter is responsible for European integration.
Deputy Minister of Infrastructure/Infrastructure Ministry Chief of Staff Volodymyr Omelian is responsible for financial and economic issues, legal support, human resources, river transport, liaisons with government agencies and the parliament, and scientific issues. In addition, he is responsible for communication with the public and experts.
