The Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure is negotiating with Ukrainian air carriers on the possibility of replacing the flights that were canceled by foreign airlines, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Interfax Ukraine news agency.

"The Ministry of Infrastructure is currently negotiating with Ukrainian airlines on the speedy launch of additional flights on the routes where foreign airlines have decided to cancel flights to ensure uninterrupted flights," Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.

According to him, cardinal changes in the dynamics of flights to/from Ukraine are not being observed.

“There are currently no justified reasons to cancel flights, and the government is in full control of the situation in the Ukrainian airspace. Quick and effective decisions will be made at the slightest real risk because flight safety is an absolute priority,” Kubrakov said.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, more than a dozen airlines have made changes to their schedules for flights to Ukraine because of flight safety concerns.
