Inspections of vessels operating under the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which established a humanitarian maritime corridor to allow ships to export grain and other foodstuffs from Ukraine, have resumed after a one-day pause.
United Nations representative Ismini Palla announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Black Sea News publication.
"Inspections aboard ships operating under the Ukraine Black Sea grain deal resumed on Wednesday," the statement said.
As reported earlier, the operation of the humanitarian maritime corridor was suspended on Tuesday, 11 April, because of the absence of inspections by the Joint Coordination Center (JCC). Ukraine blamed this situation on sabotage by the Russian Federation.
