Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy has signed an order on dismissal of the state-owned Mykolaiv seaport’s Director Serhii Mitchenko.

Krykliy announced this during a working visit to Mykolaiv on October 2, the CFTS portal reports, citing the NikVesti publication.

The minister of infrastructure said that Mitchenko had a number of issues that would be addressed by law enforcement agencies.

"…I am signing ... Serhii Mitchenko’s letter of resignation as the head of the Mykolaiv port. There are many issues against him. I think that law enforcement agencies and the agencies that will study the issues will give a separate assessment. In the meantime, I propose his resignation and I am signing it," Krykliy said.

As reported earlier, the minister of infrastructure recently dismissed the heads of the state-owned Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Belgorod-Dniester seaports.
