The Polish airline, LOT, has performed its first flight from Warsaw to an airport in Kosice (Slovakia), which is located 90 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. The press service of the Kosice airport announced this in a statement.
The first flight departed at 05:35 on Wednesday morning and landed in Warsaw at 06:45. The flight was due to depart from the Polish capital at 22:35 and land in Kosice at 23:40.
Embraer E175 aircraft will be used on the new route. The flights will be operated six times a week. There will be no flights from Warsaw on Saturday and from Kosice on Sunday.
As reported, LOT launched flights to Kharkiv in early March. In addition, the Polish airline flies to Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa.
