The Lviv international airport handled 140,300 passengers in February, which is 29.4% more than the number of passengers it handled in the same month of 2018.
The airport announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
The number of flights to/from the airport was 1,226 in February 2020, which is 17.5% more than the number in February last year (1,043).
The airport handled 122,700 passengers on international flights in February 2020 (a 26.9% increase compared with February 2019) and 17,600 on domestic flights (a 50.4% increase).
The volume of passenger traffic through the Lviv international airport increased by 28.7% to 303,200 in the first two months of 2020, compared with 235,500 in the same period of last year. The number of flights handled by the airport increased by 11.6% from 2,314 to 2,582.
The number of international passengers handled by the airport increased by 26.6% and the number of domestic passengers it handled increased by 46.1% in the first two months of 2020.
As reported earlier, the Lviv international airport handled 2.218 million passengers in 2019, a 38.8% increase compared with 2018.
